The plain English licence for The Yap Machine software and your own videos.
When you buy The Yap Machine, you get a personal, non-transferable licence for one person on up to two computers that belong to that person. You may not resell, share, rent or redistribute the installer, download links, licence keys, source files or updates.
You keep ownership of your recordings, scripts, Looks, settings and finished videos. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for having permission to use the footage, music, images and client material you put into the editor.
The Yap Machine includes original code and open-source components. Those components keep their own licences and notices, including the notices shipped with the product. Nothing in this page takes away rights those licences give you.
Signed updates are checked before installation. Your videos, Looks and settings are not intentionally changed by an update. A refunded or shared licence may lose access to future downloads and updates without disabling videos you already made.
The software is provided as is. We do not promise that every computer, recording or edit will work perfectly. A good recording matters, and you should watch every finished video before posting. To the extent allowed by law, Roxs Marketing is not liable for lost content, lost income, or indirect damage caused by using or being unable to use the software.
